Hyderabad: Crackdown on Union Tourism Minister G Kishan Reddy, Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) Jobs Chairman KT Rama Rao wonders why BJP is celebrating High Court order to hand over four BRS MLA poaching cases to Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).
Initially, the BJP kept its distance from the accused Swamiji involved. But he asked why the BJP was trying to throw a roadblock in the investigation.
In a statement released on Tuesday, the BRS jobs chairman slammed unionized tourism minister G Kishan Reddy for publicly claiming that referring the case to the CBI would guarantee the innocence of the accused.
“Aren’t these blatant statements a reflection of the BJP government’s approach to destroying central investigative agencies, including the CBI?” Rama Rao asked.
There was a time when the accused in the case feared the CBI investigation but now many are celebrating if the case is handed over to the CBI. He said this reflected how the CBI had lost its relevance under the BJP regime.
After being caught red-handed in an attempt to overthrow the Telangana state government, the BJP is again trying to overshadow the ruling party. He lashed out that the BJP had gone further than Congress in abusing the central investigative agency.
He said the CBI used to be known as the Congressional Bureau of Investigation and now people describe it as the Central BJP Investigation.
“Apart from CBI investigation, will all three involved in the case appear in court for drug analysis and polygraph test? This will expose their links with BJP,” Rama Rao challenged the union tourism minister.
In addition to being notorious for its arrogance and arrogance for abusing its power during its eight years in power, the BJP has long lost the trust of the people. He said the BRS did not need to do anything special to further slander the BJP.
As the BJP lacks substance, it is trying to poach MLAs and leaders from other parties and overthrow the democratically elected government, he said, asking “Isn’t that true? Operation Lotus did not succeed in Telangana, BJP’s strategy was exposed”
The BRS Jobs chairman said a fair and truthful investigation had been conducted on the BJP’s MLA poaching case on a public platform. “The accused cannot escape in the people’s court,” said Rama Rao.
