Telangana: Nursing Candidates Selected for Overseas Work Placement in Japan

Hyderabad: Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar has said the state government is undertaking several training and capacity-building initiatives to position Telangana as the “skills capital of India”, especially in healthcare, and tap into the huge job market abroad.

Somesh Kumar was speaking after the Telangana Rural Development Institute on Tuesday after the pilot batch special training program for nursing candidates selected from Telangana for overseas job placement in Japan, Telangana The government is seeking partnerships with government and recognized private organizations to provide well-paid job opportunities for qualified nurses, especially those from disadvantaged socioeconomic backgrounds, in some countries, and to facilitate their recruitment through safe, fair and ethical immigration channels. “Many developed countries like Japan have a huge need for nursing staff,” he said.

The Chief Secretary ensures that the state government provides all possible support to encourage students to develop a global perspective and work hard to hone their skills and aspire to become an international airline.

The program is organized by Telangana Overseas Manpower Company Limited (TOMCOM) in partnership with Navis Human Resources Pvt Ltd. Candidates can earn a salary of up to Rs upon successful completion of training and placement. 1.6 million per year.

The meeting was attended by Rani Kumudini Panchayat Raj, Special Principal Secretary, Ministry of Labour, Employment Training and Factories, Sandeep Sultania, Minister of Rural Development, SAM Rizvi, Minister of Health and Family Welfare, and TOMCOM E Vishnu Reddy, Secretary (Ministry of Industry) and Chief Executive Officer.
