Hyderabad: In another ‘John Doe’ order from the Delhi High Court, media company Arha Media and Broadcasting on Wednesday obtained a sweeping order banning all websites and broadcasters (including www.vcinemas.com) and “the whole world” from broadcasting Its presentation, “Unstoppable,” was moderated by Nandamuri Balakrishna.
The company recently approached HC by filing a “John Doe” lawsuit seeking an injunction to restrain the illegal and unauthorized distribution of the original Internet talk show, which was released on December 30 and features superstar Prabhas. The company expects a large number of viewers for the episode, which will lead to higher financial returns. It has spent Rs 170 crore on the production, promotion and marketing of the talk show series.

Considering the company’s investment in the talk show series, HC observed that any illegal broadcast would seriously affect its monetary interests and reduce the value of the talk show.
“Unstoppable” premieres on November 4, 2021 and ends in February 2022. Following the success of the first season, the second season began in October of this year and is still ongoing.
This “Li Si” order is the first of its kind for an OTT platform in terms of original content. Notably, this is not only an injunction against the infringer from broadcasting, hosting, or distributing web content during its two seasons, but it also sets a precedent for all future productions generated by the web talk show, ranging from episodes of future shows Utilization of Episodes, Seasons, and Metaverses in Future Mode.
