Hyderabad: In 2022, the second and third tallest buildings in Telangana were approved by the authorities. Approved tall buildings include Poulomi Palazzo in Kokapet (55 storeys) and Candeur Crescent (50 storeys) in Serilingampally.
Poulomi Palazzo will be the second tallest building in Telangana after the 57-storey SAS Crown in Kokapet, followed by the 50-storey Candeur Crescent and the 44-storey Nanakramguda Mount Olympus.
Even with no shortage of land, the trend of vertical growth for builders in Hyderabad seems to be continuing. In 2022, nearly 82 high-rise buildings received building permits only within the GHMC, which excludes Kokapet, Narsingi and several other areas where high-rise buildings are under construction.
Among the 82 buildings, there are 60 residential buildings and 22 commercial buildings. In addition to this, 16 layout/gated communities were approved for the construction of high-rise buildings. Among the 82 approved projects, 14 high-rise residential buildings are more than 30 stories high, and the remaining high-rise residential buildings are 10-30 storeys high.
