Hyderabad sailor Sahith Bandaram clinches first gold in Junior Nationals

Champions and runners-up at National Sailing Championships receive trophies
Hyderabad: Hyderabad sailor Sahith Bandaram clinched his maiden gold in the junior category of the Telangana State Sailing Championships in Hyderabad on Saturday.
Sahith, who was 11th in the ninth race, finished first with 34 points in the final leg of the race.
Meanwhile, Deekshitha Kommaravelli took silver in the junior category and top honors in the girls category.
In the junior category, Sanjay Reddy from Medchal took the gold easily in the final race. R Ashwini from Nagarkurnool and T Ajay from Khammam won silver and bronze respectively.
