Sangaredy: Up to 200 Karnatakas took part in the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) at Chillargi village in Bidar Taluk on Saturday. Inspired by various welfare and government schemes introduced by the Telangana government, the villagers approached Narayankhed MLA Mahareddy Bhupal Reddy.
The Narayankhed MLA welcomed them into the party by handing them their party scarves. Speaking in Chillargi on Saturday, Bhupal Reddy said this is an indication of how the BRS will be consolidated across the country in the coming days. The MLA said people from Karnataka came forward to join the TRS because they were impressed with the welfare scheme of the Telangana government.
