Mumbai: After being heavily criticized for their dialogue, the makers of the recently released film “Adipurush” announced that they would be rewriting their lines as a show of respect for the audience.
A statement read: “In order to make this visual spectacle an unforgettable cinematic experience, the team decided to change the film’s dialogue and value the input of the public and audience.”

The controversy arose during the Lanka Dahan scene when Ravana’s son lit Lord Hanuman’s tail and said, “Jali na.. Abhi to aur jalegi. Jiski jalti hai wahi janta hai.”
Hanuman’s character replied: ‘Kapda tere baap ka. tell your father. Aag bhi tere baap ki. Toh jalegi bhi tere baap ki. “
