Hyderabad: T-Hub, India’s leading innovation hub and ecosystem enabler, has announced the outstanding achievements of the first batch of AIC T-Hub Semiconductor Programme.
Launched under the Atal Innovation Mission, the program has played a key role in promoting the growth and development of the semiconductor ecosystem in India. Having incubated 10 innovative start-ups and raised significant funding, the first batch of successes demonstrates the enormous potential and opportunities in the semiconductor industry.
The first members of the AIC T-Hub semiconductor program have achieved a remarkable milestone. Startups participating in the program have raised a staggering Rs 6 crore through grants and angel investments and are currently in discussions for an additional Rs 3 crore funding.
Earlier, T-Hub carefully selected a group of outstanding startups to join this prestigious team. These companies include Vasbeam, Proton Plus, Vanix Technologies, Ambit Semiconductors, Anscer Robotics, Cyrrup Solutions, Fasmho Energy Systems, Rapture Innovation Labs, GreenPMU Semi and Hivericks Technologies Private Limited.
Vasbeam developed and manufactured integrated analog ICs (integrated circuits) for 5G and satellite communications, while GreenPMU Semi developed energy harvesting ICs that are now ready for multi-project wafer (MPW) semiconductor manufacturing. Vanix developed an FPGA-based battery solution and won a project from a processor company. Anscer Robotics has accepted multiple pilots from Mahindra, Schindler and is building a production unit. Rapture’s earphones employing the patented Hybrid Driver Acoustics technology have received multiple overseas orders.
