Passenger traffic at Visakhapatnam Airport up 55.14%, aircraft movements up 41.13%

Visakhapatnam: In the just-concluded financial year 2022-23, Visakhapatnam Airport recorded a 55.14% increase in passenger traffic and a 41.13% increase in aircraft movements.
According to O. Naresh Kumar, vice-chairman of the Air Travelers Association of Andhra Pradesh, the number of passengers at the airport will rise from 16,10,483 in 2021-22 to 24,98,454, while aircraft movements will increase from 14,852 to 2022-2022. 20,961 visitors in 23 years.
