Mumbai: Anticipation for the opening of India’s first Apple store was evident at Mumbai’s Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC) on Tuesday, as people were spotted waiting patiently in a serpentine queue outside the store.
Apple CEO Tim Cook expressed his excitement on Twitter on Monday, posting a photo with his team at the Mumbai store.

He tweeted: “Hi Mumbai! We can’t wait to welcome our customers to the new Apple BKC (Bandra Kurla Complex) tomorrow.” Photos of the team.
Apple’s Mumbai store will open its doors at 11am, while the Delhi store will open to customers at 10am on Thursday. The US tech giant launched its first online store in India in 2020 and was supposed to launch its brick-and-mortar store soon after, but plans have stalled due to the Covid pandemic.
