Biswas, the eldest daughter of Maninder from Penchikalpet mandal centre, scored 985 out of 1,000 in the Secondary Intermediate (BiPC) class. She came 1st in the Kumram Bheem Asifabad area and 10th at the state level.
Collector Borkade said Biswas overcame her parents’ poor financial background and excelled in the results. He advises other students to take inspiration from the rankings and do well academically. He said steps were being taken to ensure better quality of education and improve basic facilities at public junior colleges in the area.
Deepika Biswas said she came third in the state with a score of 436 out of 440 in the Year 1 Intermediate Exam. She said that she wanted to be a doctor in the future, she said that considering her parents’ weak financial background, she could not afford to attend NEET, but she was determined to excel in EAMCET-2023.
Meanwhile, Sriramula Haritha, the daughter of a security guard, shined with a score of 468 out of 475 in her first-year intermediate exam. She is the daughter of Venkateshwar and Rajeshwari from the town of Mandamarri. Venkateshwar worked as a security guard at an apartment, while Rajeshwari worked as a maid.
