కోడిమాంసాన్ని ఇష్టపడే మాంసాహార ప్రియులకు చికెన్ ధర మాత్రం తగ్గలేదు. ప్రస్తుతం చికెన్ ధర అధిక స్థాయిలో ఉంది. రాష్ట్రవ్యాప్తంగా చికెన్ ధరలు మారుతున్నాయి. స్కిన్ లెస్ చికెన్ ధర కిలో 300 రూపాయలు పలుకుతుండగా, చికెన్ తిన్న జనం కంగుతిన్నారు. పది రోజుల క్రితం స్కిన్ లెస్ చికెన్ కిలో రూ.220-240 ఉండగా ప్రస్తుతం కిలో రూ.300కి చేరగా, చికెన్ విత్ స్కిన్ కిలో రూ.280కి చేరింది. ప్రస్తుతం మార్కెట్లో సజీవ పక్షులు కిలో రూ.180కి విక్రయిస్తున్నారు. గతంలో ఈ ధర రూ.120గా ఉండేది. మటన్ ధరతో పోలిస్తే కిలో చికెన్ 25% తక్కువ కాబట్టి మాంసాహారులు చికెన్ తినేందుకు ఇష్టపడుతున్నారు. అయితే చికెన్ ధరలు పెరుగుతుండడంతో కొనేముందు ఒకటికి రెండు సార్లు ఆలోచించాల్సిన పరిస్థితులు ఉన్నాయి. బంధువులు ఇంటింటికి వస్తే చికెన్ కోసం రూ.1000 వరకు వెచ్చించాల్సి వస్తోందని వినియోగదారులు వాపోతున్నారు.
