AV Ranganath appointed as new Warangal police chief

Hyderabad: The state government on Wednesday issued an order appointing Hyderabad Police Joint Commissioner (Traffic) AV Ranganath as Warangal Police Commissioner in place of Tarun Joshi who was required to report to the DGP Telangana office.

Ranganath has been working as Joint Commissioner of Hyderabad Police (Traffic) for about a year. He was instrumental in introducing several new measures for traffic management. The latest is the ROPE operation across the city.
