Varanasi: Bhojpuri actress Akanksha Dubey, 25, was found hanged in a hotel room in Varanasi on Sunday. She is shooting a movie in Varanasi.
Police have notified her family of the incident.
Akanksha was born on October 21, 1997 in Mirzapur, Uttar Pradesh. She loved dancing and acting since she was a child, so she started her acting career by sharing her short dance and performance videos on TikTok and Instagram.
She even shared a video on her Instagram account on Saturday night in which she was seen crying.
The actress was in the news nearly a month ago when she made her relationship official on Instagram via social media on Valentine’s Day. She shared a photo with co-star Samar Singh. She wrote “Happy Valentine’s Day”.
Awaiting further details, police officials declined to comment on the incident.
