Hyderabad: A day after Bharatiya Janata Party Telangana chairman Bandi Sanjay slammed K Chandrashekhar Rao’s government over farmers’ deaths, BRS leader Dasoju Sravan said the BJP was “intellectually bankrupt” and unable to see developments.
Sravan slammed the BJP party leader, saying the party was enjoying Telangana’s political woes for spreading outright lies.
“BJP leaders are known for making baseless accusations, spreading outright lies and relishing Telangana’s political woes. The data speaks volumes for what has been done in Telangana over the past 9 years. Read more Look at the data with eyes. Nearly 33 crore investment has gone into Telangana through various industries like pharmaceuticals, IT, non-IT and other companies. Provided 2.3 lakh jobs for youths in Telangana and across the country. BJP Intellectually has gone bankrupt and therefore cannot see real development in Telangana,” Sravan said when speaking to ANI on Saturday.
He further mocked the BJP for questioning the state government over the death of farmers.
“You are from the same party responsible for the deaths of hundreds of farmers and they are agitating against 3 farm laws in Delhi. Now, how dare you talk about the welfare of farmers. Telangana is the first place in the country to offer Rythu Bandu, every Acre provides Rs 10,000 to each farmer. We also provide Rythu Beema, which is insurance for farmers and free electricity for 24 hours,” the BRS leader further said.
He also said that under the KCRC government, Telangana has become one of the largest agricultural producing states in the country.
BJP leaders should keep their eyes open and recognize reality instead of spreading rumours.
He also claimed that Narendra Modi’s government, which governs the centre, has failed to deliver on the promises it has made.
“What is the unemployment rate in Telangana today? You better stop spreading false lies and misinterpreting facts. Spreading misinformation is a crime,” Sravan further added.

Over 2,500 acres of land are allotted to industrial areas in about 8 villages. The government doesn’t even bother to negotiate or talk to the people. It’s not just happening now.
Over the years, some leaders here have planned and changed the master plan in their favor to increase the value of their land. Master planning is part of it. If the farmers did not protest, they would suppress all opposition and set up industrial zones,” Bandy said.
