BRS poised to make major inroads in Maharashtra, spark a political storm in neighboring states, says CM KCR

BRS Chairman and Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao was speaking in Telangana Bhavan on Tuesday after welcoming many senior leaders from Maharashtra to the party.
Hyderabad: The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) will make major gains in Maharashtra and spark a political storm in neighboring states, party chairman and chief minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao said on Tuesday.
He noted that the party’s presence in Maharashtra was becoming more visible and felt, the overwhelming response from the grassroots and signs of BRS’s emergence as a formidable force had become a major concern for other parties.
Welcoming many senior leaders from Maharashtra to BRS in Telangana Bhavan on Tuesday, the Chief Minister said many incumbent MLAs of the state have also approached him. They are determined to join the party.
He interacted with leaders on strategies to strengthen the party ahead of upcoming elections for local bodies, saying the party’s organizational structure would be shaped according to the mission model.
He called on party workers to reach out to every corner of Maharashtra from May 10 to June 10 with the slogan “Ab ki baar Kisan Sarkar”. Party member events are underway as part of special events. The appointment of district coordinators will be completed within two to three days. Appointments of heads of parliamentary constituencies have been completed in six ministries. Appointments for the remaining 288 constituencies will be completed shortly.
The organizational network will be expanded by forming party groups at the district and village levels. Strengthen it in urban areas and cities using a similar approach. He said a training camp for party members would be organized in Telangana Bhavan on May 8-9.
Energy Minister G Jagadish Reddy, Zaheerabad MP BB Patil, Government whip Balka Suman, MLCs Palla Rajeshwar Reddy and S Madhusudhana Chary, MLA Jogu Ramanna, leaders of Maharashtra including BRS Kisan Cell (Maharashtra Trabang) Manik Kadam and Shankaranna Donge attended the meeting.
