San Francisco: OpenAI updated its ChatGPT app on iOS and iPadOS on Thursday to introduce “drag and drop” support.
With this new feature, individual messages can now be dragged and dropped into other applications.
The app can now also take advantage of the newly updated full iPad screen. Additionally, the company has introduced Siri and Shortcuts integration for ChatGPT, which means the app can now work directly with Siri and Shortcuts.
Last month, the ChatGPT app was released for iOS users in India, and the company expanded the availability of the app to more countries.
Currently, OpenAI has an iOS-only ChatGPT app with plans for an Android version, which it promises will be available soon.
At the same time, the company introduced a feature called “Share Link” to the app, which allows users to create ChatGPT conversations and share them with others.
“Recipients of the link you share can view the conversation or copy it into their own chat to continue the discussion. This feature is currently rolling out to a small group of testers in alpha and plans to expand to all users in the coming weeks ( including free users),” OpenAI said.
