CM Cup-2023 is being organized to recognize and showcase rural youth’s sports skills, says Gautham, VP of Collectors
canman: CM Cup 2023 is being organized to recognize and showcase the sports skills of rural youth, said Gautham, Vice President of Regional Collectors.
CM Cup-2023 will be held at Mandalay level from 15-17 May, followed by district level from 22-24 May, targeting youths aged 15-36. The winners of the Mandal level will advance to the regional level competition.
The state government has always prioritized sports for a healthy society as they enhance physical and mental health. To achieve this, the government has established Telangana Kreeda Pranganams in every village and mini stadiums dedicated to athletes at the constituency level.
Every measure has been taken to ensure the success of the CM Cup competition. A committee of district officials has been formed at the district level to make all the necessary arrangements. Basic facilities such as tents, drinking water, ORS kits and medical camps will be provided to participating athletes, Gautham said.
Transport Minister Puvvada Ajay Kumar will inaugurate the CM Cup-2023 municipal competition at the Sardar Patel Stadium in Khammam on May 15 at 5 pm. Five sporting events will be held at the Manda level, while the district level will witness competitions in eleven sports. Interested young people should take part in the competition, he said.
