Hyderabad: Kashi’s Jagadgurus, Ujjain and Srisaila Peethas of Veerashaiva Panchapeeta appreciated the initiatives taken by Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao for the welfare of all segments of society in the state.
Jagadgurus, Chandrasekhara Sivacharya Mahaswami (Kashi), Siddalinga Shivacharya Mahaswamiji (Ujjaini) and Chennasiddha Rama Panditaradhya Sivacharya Mahaswami, who were invited by the Chief Minister to attend the National Day celebrations here on Saturday, said Telangana has become a nation in all role models in all fields, including agriculture. They said that under the visionary leadership of the Chief Minister, the country has flourished and people from all walks of life, including farmers, are living happy and peaceful lives.
Jagadgurus, who visited Pragati Bhavan, appreciated the development and welfare programs implemented by the Telangana government. “State governments are making a huge contribution to the welfare of farmers. Providing water for irrigation to farmers is commendable. The Chief Minister is the guiding force in strengthening the agricultural sector and protecting farming communities,” they said.
The determination of the Chief Minister to support the welfare of farmers with his catchphrase “Ab ki Baar Kisan Sarkar” was significant and the prophets pledged their cooperation in the construction of “Naya Bharat” (New India) aimed at the overall development of India.
In his speech, the Chief Minister thanked the Prophets for accepting his invitation and blessing the people of the state. The Chief Minister expressed concern over the Centre’s inability to tap into natural resources, which he said the country is rich in, such as water and electricity, but are not fulfilling their potential.
During India’s 75 years of independence, the country’s agricultural sector has suffered a lot due to the negligence of the central rulers, he said, adding that farmers are struggling due to lack of irrigation facilities and electricity in the country. He sought the cooperation and blessings of the seers to establish Naya Bharat.
Earlier, Vedic scholars recited religious scriptures and blessed the chief minister and his wife Shobha. The Chief Minister also congratulated the Panchacharya Swamijis in the traditional manner. MP BB Patil, Rajya Sabha Member J Santosh Kumar, Maharashtra BRS Leader Shankar Anna Dhondge, Manik Kadam, Himanshu Tiwari and others were present.
