Hyderabad: TPCC working chair and Sangareddy MLA T Jagga Reddy has claimed that Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao’s ambition to enter national politics through the BRS offers TDP chairman N Chandrababu Naidu an opportunity to revitalize his party in Telangana.
Jagga Reddy told a news conference here on Monday that Chandrababu Naidu has been keeping a low profile since the past few years but Chandrashekar Rao (Chandrashekhar Rao) offered him the opportunity to set up BRS and try to enter Andhra Pradesh politics. “CM is giving new life to TDP, which is almost dead in Telangana,” he said.
The chances of BRS making an impression in AP politics are slim, but there is a chance that TDP could become a force in Telangana again, according to senior Congress leaders. “CM unnecessarily pushed Naidu to restore TDP in Telangana,” he said. Jagga Reddy accused Chandrashekhar Rao of turning TRS into BRS and said that by replacing Telangana with Bharat, the party had lost the Telangana sentiment that brought it to power.
