Hyderabad: Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao said on Wednesday that the literary works of renowned poet and lyricist Guda Anjaiah are the true embodiment of Telangana’s aspirations and presence.
Paying a deep tribute to one of the country’s top literary figures on the anniversary of his death, he said Anjaiah had a huge impact on Telangana and its struggle for statehood. He can ignite souls and inspire people. He said his unique poetic style could inspire many to take action, bringing them to the front lines of the fight for nationhood.
Anjaiah’s songs also help to motivate ordinary people and inspire them to support cultural movements. The focus on strengthening the healthcare system and the general development of the country in particular over the past nine years is largely due to his song “Nenu Raanu Biddo Sarkaru Dhavakhanaku”, which narrates the sordid ordeal of patients in the state past Simand Public hospitals under La rule.
The Chief Minister said that by making progress in development and fulfilling the aspirations of the martyrs of Telangana, the state has become an example for the country. He asserted that Telangana will move forward in the same spirit.
