CM KCR to open medical school and collections complex in Mahababad

Eoka: Panchayat Raj and Rural Development Minister Errabelli Dayakar Rao announced on Friday that a government medical school and a new comprehensive collection complex will soon be inaugurated by Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao at the Mahabubabad district headquarters.

Handloom and Textiles Minister KT Rama Rao will also soon lay the groundwork for a small textile park in Kodakandla mandal, Jangaon district.

Under the active leadership of K Chandrashekhar Rao, the state government has given high priority to education, health and employment, he told a meeting on the Dalit Bandu plan on Friday.

“As part of strengthening the education system, we are setting up boarding schools, implementing the ‘Mana Ooru – Mana Badi’ programme, and setting up a medical school to increase seats for MBBS,” he said, adding that medical schools and collectors are in the erstwhile tile Mahababad in Langgar District completed.

As for the mini textile park in Kodakandla, the aim is to provide a means of livelihood for some 20,000 textile households in the area.

As part of this, the state government will purchase at least 60 acres of land for the park, with an estimated total area of ​​70 acres. Station Ghanpur Revenue Department Officer (RDO) Krishnaveni has been entrusted with the task of identifying the land and issuing notices to acquire the land.

After the acquisition, TSIIC will develop the infrastructure of the textile park, including roads, drainage ditches and other facilities.

The state government is implementing the Dalit Bandu scheme to provide financial assistance of Rs 1 million to each Dalit family, the minister said. The minister suggested that the selection of Dalit Bandu beneficiaries should be divided into groups and conducted by drawing lots.

“Following the selection process, the funds will be made available to beneficiaries in the region when government funding is received,” he added.
