Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Monday launched the ‘AI in Odisha’ and ‘AI in Youth’ initiatives.
The state government has invited technology company Intel to take part in the initiative.
The first phase will be implemented in Bhubaneswar, Puri and Cuttack, officials said.

He said his government had been focusing on technology-driven transformation, one of the key components of the 5T plan, which he assured would increase the digital literacy of the masses and familiarize them with the next generation of cutting-edge technologies. It will also create an ecosystem that fosters research, innovation and applications across sectors, he said.
He praised the collaboration between the electronics and IT sector and Intel India, advising all government departments to take advantage of these programs and train officials so they can be at the forefront of the AI revolution.
He expressed confidence that “the initiative will use artificial intelligence to foster economic growth, transform governance and improve the lives of our citizens and society”.
CM calls on all to embrace this new chapter to unleash the boundless potential of our youth and build a future where artificial intelligence will be a tool for citizen empowerment and inclusive growth of nations.
