Hyderabad: A CRPF officer allegedly committed suicide in Begumpet on Thursday.
Police Constable Devendar Kumar, who was on duty at the residence of a senior CRPF officer in Begumpet, allegedly picked up a rifle and shot himself.
Police learned that the victim had fallen into depression for personal reasons and suspected he might have decided to take extreme measures as a result.
The remains have been transferred to the Gandhi Hospital Mortuary.
