New Delhi: Delhi police said on Wednesday they had identified the person who allegedly made phone calls and threatened to “kill” Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.
The accused was identified as Sudheer Sharma, a resident of Madipur in Paschim Vihar, the country’s capital, according to Delhi Police.
An officer from the Delhi Police told media sources that they had formed a team to catch him as soon as possible.
According to his family, Sharma was an alcoholic, police said.
Police said a team was deployed immediately after receiving the call to locate the caller.
“The man who made the phone and threatened to kill the Prime Minister, Union Home Minister and Chief Minister of Bihar has been identified as Sudheer Sharma, a resident of Madipur. His family says he is an alcoholic. Police are trying to find him,” the source said. said the officer.
The officer, from the outer zone of the Delhi Police, said they received two PCR calls from a man on Wednesday threatening to “kill” the prime minister, the prime minister and the chief minister of Bihar.
