Mancherial: The ancient Sri Satyanarayana Swamy Devasthanam in the Gudem village of the Dandepalli mandal sees a huge influx of devotees on Sundays for the new year.
Devotees from the area, as well as neighboring Peddapali and Jagtial districts, made their way to the holy place and offered special prayers.
They had earlier taken a dip in the holy place of Godavari on the outskirts of the village and queued up from early morning to visit the temple.
