Mumbai: Veteran actor Dharmendra wrote a note to his wife Hema Malini and daughters Esha Deol and Ahana Deol saying that due to his advanced age and ill health he was unable to personally express his love and respect to them.
The Hindi film veteran shared a throwback photo with Esha Deol alongside his post. “Esha, Ahana, Hema and all my dear children…love Takhtani and Vohra’s children, I love you from the bottom of my heart and respect you all…age and disease tell me that I could have spoken to you in person…but ,” Dharmendra wrote.
The 87-year-old did not provide any details about his “condition”.
A few hours later, Esha posted a photo of her 2012 wedding to Bharat Takhtani. In the framed photo she is accompanied by Dharmendra, Malini and her husband.
“Love you dad. You are the best. Love you unconditionally and you know it. Cheer up and be happy and healthy forever. Love you (sic),” the 41-year-old actor wrote in the caption.
Dharmendra’s post comes days after Sunny Deol’s son Karan Deol married his longtime girlfriend Drisha Acharya. Damendra’s second wife Marini and her daughters were absent from the wedding celebrations.
