One possible factor contributing to the lackluster attendance is internal discord between Bandy Sanjay and his rival faction

Warangal: Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s meeting was poorly attended, reflecting a wide gap between the BJP leader’s claims and actual attendance.
While the party claimed about half a million people would attend Saturday’s “Vijaya Sankalpa Sabha” event at the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Hanamkonda University, intelligence sources put the number at no more than 35,000.
The disappointing result left party and state leaders deeply disappointed. A possible factor behind the low attendance was internal discord between Bandi Sanjay and his rival faction, which eventually led to Sanjay being replaced by G Kishan Reddy as the national chairman. Furthermore, the BJP leader believes that the farming community has not shown interest as farming activities are in full swing. This could be another reason for the poor performance.
Another interesting point is that even when the Prime Minister is speaking, people are starting to leave. A senior party member expressed his disappointment, calling the event a failure for the BJP state and Warangal leadership. The situation suggests that public confidence in the People’s Party has waned, and the party’s ability to win more than ten MLA seats in the upcoming general election is in doubt. The low turnout has undoubtedly demoralized party cadres.
