Mumbai: In another case of in-flight unruly behavior, an elderly drunk Swedish man was arrested late on Thursday for allegedly abusing and harassing an IndiGo crew member on a Bangkok-Mumbai flight, officials said here on Saturday.
The accused, identified as 63-year-old Klas Erik HJ Westberg, was arrested after the IndiGo flight (6E-1052) landed at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport here, after four hours Suspected of indecent behavior during the long-distance journey.
He appeared at the Andheri Metropolitan Court on Friday and was released on Rs 20,000 bail while Sahar Airport Police is investigating the matter.

The flight attendant informed that no seafood was available and offered him chicken, but when she later asked him to pay by his card, he allegedly grabbed her hand.
She pushes him back in his seat to complete the deal, but he gets up and blatantly molests her in front of the other passengers, and she yells for help.
The man stood up again, got into an altercation with another crew member, and hurled insults, even hitting another passenger who was trying to intervene in the seat next door.
The victim, a 24-year-old flight attendant, then notified the captain and warned the passenger in seat 28-E of the possible consequences of his actions, but to no avail.
After the flight landed, IndiGo security personnel and CISF were notified, took control of it and then handed it over to Sahar Airport Police Station, which is investigating the case further.
