hammer: Several Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders have voiced their opposition to the party’s Durbakar MLA M Raghunandan Rao.
BJP leaders led by Ramayampet R Srinivas Reddy’s former BJP MLA met at his home in Polampally, Chegunta Mandal on Monday to discuss what they called Raghunandan Rao’s unilateral decision within the party to disregard the opinions of elders.
Speaking at the meeting, Srinivas Reddy said Raghunandan Rao had ignored senior leaders who had spent decades working to strengthen the party base in their constituencies. Reddy also questioned the party leadership’s encouragement of a leader who changes allegiances for his own benefit.
Girish Reddy, another senior leader who is also eager to get BJP tickets from Dubakar, said it is time for the BJP leadership to find a replacement leader for the next election as the BJP is sure to lose its seat in the upcoming election.
