Hyderabad: The Cyberabad Police mesmerized the people of Hyderabad with a spectacular drone display at Durgam Cheruvu in the Hitec City IT cluster on Sunday night, showcasing 500 drones.
To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the state of Telangana, the police organized a drone show involving 500 drones.
To the visual enjoyment of hundreds of onlookers, the inky sky over the lake was illuminated in a variety of hues, depicting the state government and police department’s flagship project.
The drones were used to create images of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, the recently inaugurated BR Ambedkar statue and the upcoming Telangana Martyrs Memorial in the city.
Boatlab Dynamics’ drones fly in perfect sync with pre-programmed algorithms.
Information Technology Minister KT Rama Rao was full of praise for the police department. “Great job, we may need to do this more often now,” the minister tweeted.
The drone show came on the occasion of the celebration of ‘Surksha Diwas’, which is part of the 21-day ten-year celebration.
Police organized rallies across the state to showcase its patrol cars, fire trucks and other equipment, and to showcase various initiatives to maintain law and order with friendly officers.
Home Minister Mohammad Mahmood Ali, who launched the rally at the tank bund in central Hyderabad, claimed that the Telangana police had become number one in the country in terms of police force performance.
