San Francisco: Twitter CEO Elon Musk on Wednesday blamed lies on his moderation board on “activists” after restoring accounts to the Weibo platform despite promising a content review board would make a decision.
“If I agree to this condition, a large coalition of political/social activist groups agree not to try to kill Twitter by taking away our ad revenue,” he said in a tweet.
“They broke the deal.”
Several users expressed their views on Musk’s post.
While one user said: “The left always defaults. They have no loyalty,” another commented: “He didn’t even say who the members of that coalition were, what their charter was, or what the terms of the deal were.”
Last month, Musk said Twitter would have its own content moderation board to make important moderation decisions on the platform.
The Twitter CEO added that no major content decisions or account reinstatements will happen until the committee meets.
