San Francisco: On Tuesday, Twitter CEO Elon Musk replaced the microblogging platform’s bluebird homepage logo with a “Governor” meme.
“As promised,” Musk tweeted, attaching a screenshot of a tweet conversation he had with a user last year in which they asked him to buy Twitter and change the bird logo to the doge.
Several users expressed their thoughts on Musk’s statement.
“Promise made, promise kept,” commented one user, while another said, “Thanks for making Twitter fun again! #Dogecoin on the moon!”
Last month, the Twitter CEO said his interest had shifted from cryptocurrencies to artificial intelligence (AI).
Meanwhile, last June, the tech billionaire said he would continue to back and buy Dogecoin, a cryptocurrency he has vouched for for years.
Musk, known as “Dogefather,” has long been a staunch supporter of Dogecoin and has tweeted several times in the past to help drive up the digital token’s price.
