canman: Transport Minister Puvvada Ajay Kumar has sharply criticized former MP Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, saying the former MP is frustrated with his uncertain political future.
He said the former congressman had no principles or values and just wanted to use his money and power to engage in politics. But the people of Khammam are politically aware and do not care about these leaders. The former congressman may join Congress soon, he said.
Ajay Kumar’s camp office here distributed Kalyana Lakshmi checks to 91 beneficiaries on Monday. In his speech, he said Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao was the only leader who considered the needs of the people and introduced the plan from a humanitarian perspective.
Khammam, which was neglected in the past, has developed rapidly under the leadership of the chief minister. But leader Srinivas Reddy could not digest the progress Khammam had made and made baseless allegations against the state government, he said.
