New Delhi: On Sunday, Emmanuel Lenain, the French ambassador to India, extended his “warmest greetings” to the Indian army on the occasion of the 75th Army Day.
He said that 2023 is also the 25th anniversary of the establishment of India-France strategic partnership.
“Warmest greetings to the #IndianArmy @adgpi on #ArmyDay 2023! Cooperation between the French and Indian Armies will play an important role in 2023, a special year marking the 25th anniversary of the Indo-French strategic partnership,” Lenin tweeted Special wrote.
The relationship between India and France has always been close and friendly. Since the establishment of the strategic partnership in 1998, the two countries have made significant progress in cooperation in various fields. The heads of state/government of the two countries have held regular high-level exchanges, and cooperation and exchanges in strategic fields such as defense and anti-terrorism have increased day by day. – Terrorism, nuclear energy and space.

They have always stood up for our country security and widely lauded for his service in times of crisis,” Prime Minister Modi tweeted.
Meanwhile, while paying tribute to the fallen Army soldiers, President Drupadi Murmu tweeted: “Army Day, let us remember the stories of the countless sacrifices of Indian Army soldiers! Be the savior at all times. On this occasion, I pay tribute to all the brave Indian Army soldiers and their families.” Congratulations and warm wishes to senior personnel, veterans and their families.
Defense Minister Rajnath Singh paid tribute to the indomitable courage, courage, sacrifice and service of army personnel.

To celebrate Army Day, a parade is organized every year at Cariapa Parade Ground at Camp Derry.
