The demand for MBA and MCA courses is very high due to the increased preference for these courses. Therefore, getting into a good university by getting a good rank requires hard work and serious preparation. Here are some tips for those who want to work hard and get into a good college,
Preparation
I-CET is the state entrance test. As such, it is less rigorous than national entrance exams such as CAT or MAT. Candidates wishing to take the exam should prepare a suitable timetable first. The candidate should consider the pattern of questions on the exam and continue with his/her practice. It’s still more than a month away. Now is the perfect time to start preparing. So here are some suggestions for those who want to prepare rigorously for the exam.
| part | TS I-CET | CET | ||

Follow the syllabus: Candidates must first pay attention to the ICET test preparation outline, fully understand it, observe which questions appear more in the test, and pay more attention. The test paper consists of three parts. Part “A” – Analytical skills (75 points), Part “B” – Mathematical skills (75 points) and Part “C” – Communication skills (50 points). A plan must be made based on the points in the table above.
Learning materials: Once you know the syllabus, preparing (collecting) the required study materials is another important aspect. A good book should cover all the topics in the syllabus. Not only to read the study materials, but also to read other related books. Some institutions are also teaching online these days, and some experts are also offering their advice online. Taking online courses as required will yield good results.

Preparation of schedule: After knowing the syllabus and gathering the study materials, a suitable schedule should be prepared. Candidates are advised to decide in advance how much time they can allocate in a day to prepare for the I-CET. Five to six hours a day is enough if you start preparing with a notification. But even today, if you don’t start preparations or the preparations don’t go well, and you allocate 8 hours a day from today, you still have no chance to get a good ranking. It’s not enough to just prepare a schedule. Ask to set aside other questions and start preparing seriously without wasting time. Due attention should be paid to each topic in the syllabus.
take note of the subject: Another most important point to consider when preparing for I-CET is to write down each topic in a separate notebook. Writing down the main points like this will not only allow candidates to remember for a long time, but also verify it when needed. If they made a point, they should restate the point.
Practice previous question papers: It is also important to practice exam papers from previous years, as well as books and study materials. Kakatiya University has made these available on its website. These test papers can be accessed through the link https://icet.tsche.ac.in/UI/TestPapers.aspx. Candidates can gain a good grasp of the topics in the exam by practicing the previous year’s papers.
Mock test: Candidates should practice the study material and exam papers from previous years, taking practice tests in between to test their practice. Some agencies are running these mock tests. Practice tests are also available online. Because of this, candidates will learn about their level of practice and how they should improve.
time management: Time management is a very important factor if we want to achieve anything. It’s not enough to just create a timetable. SADHANA (practice) has to be done in the right way at the right time. Before you prepare, decide in advance how much time you will spend on each topic. More time will be required on the more difficult questions and the ones repeated in previous papers.
Pay attention to health: Many children do not pay attention to their health while preparing for the exam. Not very good. Don’t forget that we can only do anything perfectly if we are in good health. Eating nutritious food and exercising in the morning is good for your health. Practicing yoga and pranayama will help you remember these concepts well. Likewise, a good night’s sleep not only brings good health, but also restores the energy needed to resume studying. Therefore, sleep at least 7 hours a day to sleep comfortably.
Segment preparation: The test paper is divided into three parts, namely Section-A Analytical Ability, Section-B Mathematical Ability and Section-C Communication Ability. Let’s see how to practice each part.
Section – A (Analytical Skills) Preparation Strategies: The questions in this part will test the candidates’ logical thinking ability. Questions will address problem solving, data analysis, data sufficiency, encoding, decoding, and date and time scheduling. Candidates can achieve good marks by following the instructions given below.
- Candidates should have a thorough understanding of the relevant topics and solve the difficult problems in the above topics.
- Learn the shortcuts you need to solve problems quickly.
- Candidates should keep in mind that they will only be able to score higher in this section with more practice.
- Practice as many ICET papers from previous years as possible. This will help candidates master the repetitive questions.
Part B (Math Ability): This section tests the candidates’ analytical skills. This section contains questions on statistics, numeracy, geometry and algebra.
- The questions in this section are almost all based on 10day classroom math.
- Candidates should focus on basic mathematics.
- Questions will be from topics like LCM, GSD, Percentage, Profit & Loss, Distance, Work Problems, Time, Relationships, Functions, Mean, Median, Mode and more.
- If the candidate first understands the question well, he will be able to get the correct answer.
- It is good to practice past papers related to this part.
Part C (communication skills): This section assesses the candidate’s knowledge of the language. This includes questions on functional grammar, vocabulary, integrated reading, computers and business terminology. Below are instructions for scoring well in this section.
- English grammar points must be understood correctly.
- Properly memorize the rules related to grammar.
- Grammar needs to be practiced several times.
- Read several words related to computers and business. The more you read the better.
I hope that the candidates will practice well according to the above suggestions and get a good ranking.
