San Francisco: Google says it’s now offering Bard, its artificial intelligence chatbot, to users with a Workspace account.
In the official Bard changelog, Google announced that Workspace accounts can now access the platform.
However, to enable access, a Workspace administrator must first enable Bard for their domain. Once enabled, Workspace accounts will have the same level of access as consumer accounts.
In a separate blog post, Google explained that the Bard setup for managed accounts will soon be available under “Early Access Applications” and will be rolled out gradually over the next few days.
“Starting today, Workspace admins will have the option to open up access to Bard for their end users through the newly introduced Early Access Apps control,” Google said in a blog post on Friday.
Additionally, the company mentions that all Google Workspace customers can use admin controls to enable or disable access to Bard, even if Bard is not yet available in your country.
This means that even if your organization turns on Early Access Apps, users in non-Bard countries will not be able to access the service.
Meanwhile, Google is reportedly planning to introduce an exclusive home screen widget on its devices in the near future to enhance the accessibility of its AI chatbot, Bard, on Pixel phones and tablets.
According to 9to5Google, Bard AI is expected to launch on Android soon, with a home screen widget.
