Hyderabad: Just a few days ago, Elon Musk accused Apple of pulling ads from the platform and removing the app from their App Store, among other things. Everything was happy yesterday between the two companies.
Musk tweeted a video of Apple’s headquarters, writing: “Thank you @tim_cook for showing me around the beautiful Apple HQ.”
In follow-up tweets, he sought to clarify ongoing tensions between the two companies. “Great talk. Among other things, we resolved misconceptions about Twitter’s possible removal from the App Store. It’s clear to Tim that Apple never considered doing that.”
Yes, this comes days after Musk bombarded Twitterati with some tough allegations against Tim Cook and Apple.
Musk retweeted a statistic claiming that Apple imposes a secret 30% tax on all purchases made through the App Store.
He also conducted a poll asking “Apple should announce all censorship actions it takes that affect its customers.” 84.7 percent answered “Yes,” and Musk tweeted: “People have said …”
As users watched the drama unfold and end with the two tech giants chatting happily by the pond, they asked, “So, are you lying?”
