Gurgaon police have arrested a man involved in drug trafficking after procuring drugs from Visakhapatnam in Nukh district of Haryana.

Gurgaon: The crime division of Gurgaon Police has arrested a man involved in drug trafficking after procuring drugs from Visakhapatnam in Nukh district of Haryana.
The defendant was identified as Shabbir Khan (36), a resident of Nuh. Police also seized 359kg of high-quality marijuana (ganja) inside a truck.
The crime unit responsible for DLF Stage 4 received information about the supply of large quantities of narcotics through reliable sources.
According to the report, the police arrived at the designated location, captured the driver of a truck, and seized a large amount of marijuana hidden in the vehicle.
During the interrogation, the accused revealed that his companion had handed over the truck to him in Visakhapatnam for delivery in Nukh.
ACP (Crime Department) Varun Dahiya said: “The defendant should have been paid Rs 300,000 for the delivery, but he charged Rs 40,000 in advance.”
A case has been registered against the accused at the Bilaspur Police Station under the relevant provisions of the NDPS Act.
