IT tower under construction in Siddipet
Sidi Pete: Finance Minister T Harish Rao said the IT Tower in Siddipet will open in April this year. However, the minister expressed disappointment at the slow pace of work. Previously, the government had set a January deadline for completing the work, but the contracting agency was unable to meet the deadline.
About 60 per cent of the construction work has been completed so far, the minister said on Tuesday, speaking with officials as he reviewed the progress of work on the IT tower. Asking officials to speed up their work, Rao directed them to do the same by March.
He stated that the decision of the government of Telangana to construct an IT tower in Sidipet is aimed at creating employment opportunities for the locals and he said the IT tower will be a golden gift for the qualified youth of Sidipet.
