Hyderabad: The management of a Hayasnagar school has refused to allow female students to wear scarves in classrooms, sparking a row that has led to the school being opened.
According to police, the problem started after the school reopened on June 12, when two girls in tenth grade sat in the classroom wearing scarves.
“The principal and teachers told the students that wearing scarves in the classroom was against school policy and asked them not to. The principal issued a warning and asked the students not to attend class, and the girls informed their parents about it,” said Hayasnagar. a police official said.
On Friday, parents went to the school and spoke to management. As the problem got worse, the police were alerted. One of the girls lodged a complaint against the school principal and the police filed a case under various sections of the Indian Penal Code.
