Hyderabad: Is your email clogging up your inbox, making it difficult to keep track of important emails? Well, read on to find out the solution to your unwanted email problem.
block spam
– Open your Gmail account and click on the spam you want to block.
– Click on the “More” icon and type in “Block”.
– click block [sender] confirm.
– You will not receive emails from blocked senders until you unblock your account.
Unsubscribe from mass emails on Gmail
– Click on the sender’s email to unsubscribe.
– Look for the unsubscribe or change preferences link, usually at the bottom of the email.
– Click on the link and confirm that you want to unsubscribe.
– You will no longer receive emails after unsubscribing.
– However, if you don’t see the Unsubscribe or Change Preferences link, you can report the message as spam or block the sender.
Bulk delete emails on Gmail
– Open Gmail and click on Inbox.
– Click the “Select All” checkbox at the top of the page.
– If you have more than one page of messages, you can click the “Select All” conversation link at the bottom of the page.
– Click the Delete button and confirm.
Bulk delete specific categories of messages
– Open your favorite browser and go to Gmail.
– In the search bar, type “label:unread” and press Enter.
-Gmail will display all unread messages. To select only read messages, type “label:read”.
– Check the box at the top to select all displayed messages, then click “Select all conversations that match this search”.
– Click on the delete icon located at the top to delete the selected email.
Selected emails will be moved to the Trash folder and permanently deleted after 30 days.
