Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Municipal Water and Sewerage Board (HMWS&SB) on Friday organized a special training program for ward assistants. The program was held in various wards of the Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) and Water Board Headquarters and briefed the HMWS&SB Ward Assistants on the duties and procedures to be followed.
GHMC is establishing 150 constituency offices, each unit will be headed by a constituency officer. He will be assisted by key unit level staff from all divisions of GHMC, staff from HMWS&SB and Telangana State Southern Power Distribution Company Limited.
HMWS&SB managing director Dana Kishore said ward assistants should resolve complaints about drinking water supplies and sewage quickly. The HMWS&SB Ward Assistant shall submit to the Ward Officer a report of the action taken and inform the complainant of the remedy for the complaint.
