ADP India has launched She Shuttle under the remit of the company’s corporate social responsibility program Tarang as part of its women’s empowerment initiative

ADP India, in partnership with Society For Cyberabad Security Council – SCSC, has launched She Shuttle for working women under the purview of ADP India’s Corporate Social Responsibility Programme, Tarang, as part of its Women’s Empowerment Initiative.
Hyderabad: ADP India, in partnership with Society For Cyberabad Security Council (SCSC), has launched She Shuttle for working women at ADP Avenue on the MMTS Station to Nanakramguda route in the hi-tech city. ADP India launched She Shuttle under the purview of the company’s corporate social responsibility program, Tarang, as part of its women’s empowerment programme. She Shuttle, which can accommodate up to 40 passengers, operates six to eight round trips per day five days a week, is expected to provide free transportation to nearly 12,000 women in a month, according to a press release.
Dave Kwon, ADP, Chief Legal Officer, Head of Executive Committee, Member of ADP Corporate Social Responsibility Board, Vijay Vemulapalli, Managing Director and Managing Director, ADP India, and other senior ADP leaders, K. Shilpavalli, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Cyber abad, SCSC deputy chief Rajendra Prasad K and other senior police officers were also present.
Earlier, as part of its corporate social responsibility programme, ADP partnered with Cyberabad Police to install over 80 CCTV cameras in Hyderabad’s Nanakaramguda area.

Speaking at the launch, Dr Vipul Singh commented, “Women’s empowerment is one of Tarang’s key pillars and we have implemented several initiatives such as a women’s helpline number, a career center for underprivileged women through Jeevika, a hygiene product distribution drive and sanitary napkin dispensers. The oppressed communities of Hyderabad and Pune, and distribute groceries and daily essentials to our female support workers. It is an honor for ADP to support this She Shuttle initiative at SCSC, as a responsible corporate citizen, We will continue to propose more of these programs to advance the status and safety of women in all walks of life.”
