The workshop aims to understand the current level of innovation in food and nutrition security and climate resilience

Hyderabad: Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University (PJTSAU) professor AgHub organized a one-day workshop on Wednesday on “Building Innovation-led Entrepreneurial Pathways to Accelerate Sustainable Development Goals”.
Organized in conjunction with the Center for Global Development, New Delhi, Research and Information Systems (RIS), and the IKP Knowledge Park, Hyderabad, the workshop aimed to understand the current level of innovation in food and nutrition security and climate resilience.
Dr GR Chintala, former NABARD President, opened the workshop by emphasizing the need to revitalize agriculture and resilience by incorporating environmental social and governance (ESG) norms into the system. ICRISAT DDG Dr. Arvind Kumar spoke about the integration of the 17 SDGs and discussed the ICRISAT model that emerged in this context.
Gareth Wynn Owen, Deputy High Commissioner, British High Commission, emphasized the need for nations to come together, developed, developing and underdeveloped, to build a better, healthier and more prosperous planet. Also speaking were Jayesh Ranjan, Chief Secretary, IT&EC Department, and Dr. Sudheer Kumar, Registrar, PJTSAU.
