Hyderabad: The annual Sampradaya Sankrtanotsav Cultural Festival in Hyderabad from December 30 to January 8 had its grand opening on Friday.
As an inauguration, AVKRajasimmhan Bhagavathar sang praises to God in a mixture of works by several Vaggeyakaras – Jayadeva, Annamayya, Bhadrachala Ramadas to Arunagirinathar, Tukaram, Naamdev and several others.
Rajasimmhan showcases his mastery and extensive repertoire of classical music.Experienced accompanists including Vijay Balan and S.Ganesh in Choir, Mahavadi Vasu in Violin, Kannepalli Srikar in Harmonium, Hari Sundar in Mridangam and Gopalakrishna in Dolki provided excellent support to enhance the experience
Over the years, Sampradaya Sankeertanotsav has become a prestigious event which includes Carnatic Concert, Namasankeertana Recital, Abhang Concert, Harikatha, Abhinayam and themed stage performances.
The show is also broadcast live on YouTube with the production association and support of Hope Ad Pvt Ltd.
