Hyderabad men’s and women’s basketball teams crowned champions in 7th Junior Interdistrict Basketball Tournament

Hyderabad: The Hyderabad boys’ and girls’ basketball teams were crowned champions in the 7th Junior Inter-district Basketball Championship held at the Vijayabaskaredi Indoor Stadium in Kotla, Hyderabad on Saturday.
In the men’s high score final, Hyderabad defeated Medchal & Malkajgiri 94-82, with Lokesh, Ram and Sravan scoring 28, 21 and 16 points respectively to win. In the women’s final, Hyderabad narrowly defeated Medchal and Malkajgiri 55-53. Parinista won the championship with 21 points.
