Hyderabad: Two people were injured in Shamshabad on the outskirts of the city after a car allegedly driven recklessly by a doctor collided with two vehicles in the early hours of Wednesday.
The incident happened at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport transit at about 2 am when M. Gautam (25), a resident of Banjara Hills, in a case of recklessness and negligence, first crashed into an auto rickshaw, the driver Mohd. Tajuddin was injured. The vehicle then went on to hit another car and then a motorcycle, injuring the driver.
After receiving the news, RGIA police officers rushed to the scene and detained Gautam. A DUI breathalyzer test came back negative. Police have collected samples from him and sent them to a forensic science laboratory.
