Construction worker dies after accidentally falling from crane at VST-Indira Park steel flyover construction site

Hyderabad: A construction worker died after accidentally falling from a crane at the VST-Indira Park steel flyover construction site at the RTC intersection on Friday.
Rajesh Kumar (19), a native of Uttar Pradesh, worked on the project on a contract basis and lived in temporary huts built for workers near the site. The police said that when the incident happened, Rajesh was trying to climb a crane that was lifting construction materials, but accidentally slipped from a height. He died instantly.
Chikkadpally Police are investigating. The body was transferred to the Gandhi Hospital Mortuary for autopsy.
