Hyderabad: Renowned oncologist Dr Dattatreyudu Nori delivered the “Shirodkar Memorial Lecture” on Friday at Telangana Academy of Sciences (TAS) on “Cancer Management: Where Are We?” at Asian Institute of Gastroenterology (AIG)-Hospital , Gachibowli.
He highlighted recent advances in the treatment of cancer, which is prevalent around the world, and said cancer, once a dreadful disease, is now becoming curable, thanks in large part to advances in biomedical science and new technologies.
